NightHawk Design - Design Team

Rod Wiebe (Professional Building Designer: AIBD):

Rod has been in or around the construction industry for the past twenty-five-plus years. His background includes technical, sales, service and management positions with roofing material suppliers, pre-engineered truss manufacturers, lumber suppliers, and turn-key framing operations. The preponderance of his experience is in the floor and roof truss industry, where various fabricators employed him in Colorado and California. Over the years, his aptitude and proficiency in the practical application of structural theory evolved and expanded. His reputation within the manufactured component industry remains strong, even today. In 1994, Rod founded NightHawk Design to fill a need to satisfy stringent new structural standards imposed by the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department (PPRBD: Colorado Springs). Since then, hundreds of homes (from $ 150,000.00 through $ 3,000,000.00 budget), additions, remodels, light-commercial and other projects have been completed under his direct supervision. Rod is a Professional Building Designer as accredited by the American Institute for Building Design. (Rod has been licensed as a general contractor with PPRBD in the past.)

Dennis Asher:

Dennis Asher has extensive hands-on experience in the construction of residential homes. From 1992 through 2002, Dennis owned and operated his own framing contractor business, operating in California, Arizona and Colorado, constructing “tract” through custom units. From 2002 through 2006, Dennis performed superintendent and project manager duties for both Classic Homes and Pulte Homes in Colorado Springs. (In addition, Dennis has successfully constructed and sold several single family homes as “specs” for himself.) He joined NightHawk in 2006, where he has expanded his design talents and provided invaluable insight to our builders and homeowners via his experience and knowledge. (Dennis is currently a licensed general contractor.)
